Getting flawless skin is a never ending battle for us women. We’ll spend thousands of dollars trying every brand and every new skin and make up product that comes out that promises to make us look younger and more youthful.
As a result of being on medication for so long, my skin had become quite uneven and patchy and I had developed some blotchiness that had worsened from being in the sun.
As I was not a big fan of wearing heavy make up every day to cover it, so I contacted the talented team at www.ry.com.au to get some advice on what would be the best for me.
Celia, the RY Beauty Therapist, gave me these options:
The GLOW TINT BB cream in the Jane Iredale is a great product. It does give more of a full coverage so just use a small amount. It is mineral based so even if the colour isn’t perfect give it a minute or 2 and the minerals will warm to your skin tone. Glow Time covers blemishes, minimizes pores, disguises wrinkles and smoothes and brightens skin.
For a lighter coverage and texture the Dermalogica sheer tint is also a great product. Sheer tint has natural, light-diffusing agents combined with natural mineral colour pigments to help balance skin tone and soften fine lines.
I opted for the Jane Iredale BB Cream and went for a lighter shade so even in the colder months when i’m not so tanned, I can just blend it in with a hint of bronzer.
Having the help of a beauty therapist is great when online shopping if you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for.
