Denim Day is the first of the #STYLEMESCFF Instagram challenge daily themes starting tomorrow (1 September 2015). Fairly self explanatory for this one, but I wanted to do something different than just jeans or “double denim” which is a huge trend.

I actually find it EXTREMELY difficult to find good fitting jeans for my body, mainly because I don’t have a waist and unless there is some stretch in the fabric, the ole muffin top reveals it’s mushy sides. It’s not pretty lol.

The chambray shirt is an old classic, worn by men and women. In fact this is a men’s slim fit shirt. Big enough to cover the girls without the buttons gaping and a more tailored fit so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing a tent. I love wearing shirts open as “jackets”… for a multitude of reasons – it’s covers my trouble bits (arms, belly), extra bit of warmth on a cold day/night and in this instance added a bit of street cool to this boho fringing dress.

One of the best things about Denim is that it can be worn literally to any occasion, it’s that fab all rounder.

How do you wear your denim?
